It was established in Hastinapur in 1968 by the Government of India with some families of South Indians from Burma, after which all the South Indians together established Sri Sri Nookalamma Ammavaru as a temple in 1969. Maintaining the same tradition Keeping in mind the devotees of Hastinapur , we formed a trust in the name of the temple. After gaining knowledge of the powers of Sri Sheetla Mata Mandir, now the second name of the Mata has been given (Sri Sri Sheetla Mata Mandir Trust Hastinapur).
